The Bureau of Planning is engaged in a yearlong planning process to develop the first Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) for the City of Atlanta. The “Connect Atlanta Plan” will guide the next 25 years of transportation policy and investment in ways that advance Atlanta’s larger vision of creating a more modern, vibrant and sustainable city. Consequently, the Bureau of Planning is seeking Stakeholder Committee members.

Applicants to the Stakeholder Committee should be dedicated to the mission of the Comprehensive Transportation Plan – creating a more modern, vibrant, and sustainable city – and be willing to take on a leadership role. We are especially looking for people of all ages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, and professional knowledge. Interested persons may apply by submitting the form below. Those selected to serve on the Stakeholder Committee will be notified by phone and/or email.

By submitting this Stakeholder Application, you commit to helping the City of Atlanta successfully develop the Connect Atlanta Plan. We understand that your role as a Stakeholder will be voluntary, but successful participation on the committee will include the following commitments:

• Routinely Attend Connect Atlanta Plan Stakeholder and public meetings
• Act as a communication link between the City of Atlanta and relevant stakeholders, both public and private
• Actively seek out and represent the broadest needs and concerns of your constituents and community of service
• Provide strategic direction and input on key issues, project opportunities, and critical constraints
• Represent the CTP to the community and act as a source of project information.
